Do Something you Love Doing

There is a time and place to live by your head. But, most people live on the terms of others such as those of our parents, spouse and society’s expectations. And when that’s your entire life dedicated to them it means what you want is brushed off and put aside. This only calls for you to not be truly satisfied and in dire situations burning out. Take a look at your routine and make some time to do something you purely enjoy, even if it’s just for a moment it’ll make a difference by relieving stress built up from outside pressure. Also, you’ll feel relaxed knowing you kept true to yourself. And better yet when we maintain ourselves we can then perform better at looking after those we care for.

Simplify your Happiness

Have you noticed that the more things we want and get we are still never complete? So why keep on chasing something that’s never ending? Instead how about keeping it simple and be happy with what you already have? The things that cost money like that of a roof over our heads, clothing, food and yes maybe that new pair of shoes 🙂 can be a good start. You are pretty lucky especially when you compare with those who are without. But I bet it’s also those that don’t cost a thing that make you the happiest, your friends and family who you can rely on for a good giggle, some sound advice and share moments together. Remind yourself every day of the supposedly ‘small’ things and you find you’ll be much more satisfied than ever before.
